Sonography examinations in a maritime setting.

Abstract
Performance of a focussed sonographic examination as a differential diagnostic examination element on a barque in international sea areas. Focussed abdominal examinations were carried out on 16 volunteers. Sonography offers a diagnostic decision-making aid in maritime navigation and can be used by trained medical colleagues.
